Binding Services
I offer beautiful, traditional double-fold Machine Sewn Binding.
What is expected:
Customer provided binding : Cut strips 2.5 inches wide x WOF (width of fabric). The strips should be sewn end to end on a 45 degree diagonal, with seams pressed open, then pressed in half in a continuous length, with at least 10” more than the total linear dimension of your quilt top.
OR
Provide sufficient fabric (approx.1 yard) and I (Quilting Threads) will make the binding for the project.
Calculate the length you need to provide by adding the four sides of your quilt top together plus 10”.
For example: Quilt top 50 x 70
50+50+70+70+10=250”
You have the option of selecting Machine sewn to the Front Only (to allow hand stitching to the back), OR Machine Sewn to the Front and Back Complete.
Cost: You provide binding: $0.11 per linear inch
I make binding: $0.22 per linear inch

At Quilting Threads we use only the best thread in your quilt. Omni, So Fine, and Glide are my primary choices. Each Project will have a thread charge of $1.85 per Bobbin.
